happy girls' day!it's a tradition in japan to celebrate girls' day (march 3) with dolls and dainty japanese snacks. i have a huge set of ohina-sama dolls that my grandparents bought for me when i was born. i am thrilled that my mom is setting them up for maya's first girls' day.
i don't know when we'll celebrate it but i'll be sure to post pictures of my amazing dolls. until then, read up on the celebration here.
